Jayne Tunnicliffe, who plays Cilla Battersby- Brown’s brassy friend Yana Lumb, swapped the cobbles for canvas.
Jayne, whose work is influenced by pop art legends Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, said: “Corrie is great text and image. It’s dramatic, has comedy and it works. The characters I always liked are the iconic ones like Ena Sharples and Elsie Tanner. I’ve tried to concentrate on big storylines.”
Jayne, from Castlefield, added: “You never get a free day and a lot of hours went into them. I did Bet Lynch in two to three days, but the more detailed ones took a week.”

There has been a touch up, this was not carried out my ourselves. On larger paintings we do prefer collection, but we can arrange insured delivery at cost of P & P.
