The Gift of Nature Series was inspired by Olusegun Paul ANDREW’S keen desire to let the world appreciate the various gifts nature has blessed us with in its purest and natural form. A career spanning four decades Paul has captured his in-dwelling vision of what life is all about in Nature and for God-the giver and maker of Nature. This revelation on canvas was his way to express this gift in abstract. The painting speaks to what we all are witnessing today such as the natural habitat, natural disasters, human disasters, nature degradation, human dignity et all. When we look at our environment, there are so many things that surround us. Some are on the surface of the earth while others are underneath. Nature is beautiful, and it has blessed us with so many things for our human existence. There are different things to mention when counting the gifts of nature. But the lists encompass things like minerals, stones, metal ores, trees, plants, the sun, the rain, water, salts, fuel, and so much more. All these are resources for human beings made available by God. All these gifts are essential for us, and we can harness their characteristics and enjoy the various benefits they have to offer mankind. With such gifts, nature enables us to enjoy life. Even so, there is a catch. We have a role to play, and it is to ensure there is a perfect balance.
